3rd class trip to Faranlee Nursing Home

As part of an annual tradition our 3rd class students visited Faranlee nursing home yesterday in order to sing for the elderly residents. 22 students travelled to the home where they sang various Christmas carols to spread their Christmas cheer. They sang songs such as “jingle bells”, “Rudolph the red nose reindeer” and  “oh holy night” among others.

They were accompanied by Mr Clarke and their class teacher Mr O’ Conor. Mr Clarke provided the musical backup to the carols in the form of a guitar and a mouth organ. This was a very successful trip that was enjoyed by both the students to and the members of the home.

Merry Christmas to all !
