Our hurlers lost out to a very strong team from Gaelscoil Midleton yesterday. We can have no complaints as, in spite of our best efforts, the better team won on the day.

We started slowly and trailed at half time by 1-4 to no score. We showed a huge improvement in the second half and battled hard but lost out in the end on a score of 1-6 to 0-6.

Well done to the boys – they will learn a lot from the experience and we will train hard before our next game on Wednesday away to Crosshaven.
