On the 31st of October 1996 the Irish-language channel TG4 was launched for the very first time. This October, TG4 will celebrate 20 years of broadcasting. During the week first class decided to start the celebrations early by partaking in a range of activities. They entered an art competition organised by Cúla4, an Irish language programme on TG4, they made birthday cards in Irish for TG4 and on Wednesday they had a special party in the classroom. The boys really enjoyed all the activities and they made an extra effort to use lots of Irish during the week. Maith sibh a bhuachaillí!!
