The Student Council election took place on the 28th of March 2017. All worthy candidates were nervous coming up to election. The atmosphere was palpable. Each student from 3rd – 6th class placed their deciding vote into the ballot box. The results were counted and verified by Ms.Kirwan and Miss Neville. There were very few votes separating each candidate but the people spoke and a verdict was reached.
The members of the Student Council are
Mossie O’Donnchadha, Emmett Fitzgerald, Oscar Nangle, Aaron Alam, Umer Kiani and Joe Mac Namara.
The boys are taking a couple of days rest after a hard fought campaign and will report for duty Monday Morning as Council Members!!!!!
