4th class boys gathered at The Lough on Wednesday evening to play hurling against teams Glasheen and Togher. With very limited practice they did themselves proud and displayed signs of developing a lot of skills. Even though they drew in both matches, they reached the final of the Donie Cremin Memorial Cup, which was played the following evening. They played against Togher Boys. They showed great skill and determination and were leading right to the end. They were presented with a medal each and a cup by two players from the Cork Senior hurling team, Damien Cahalane and Bill Cooper.
A big thank you to Mr. Twomey for training the boys.
