1st Class Go on a Bug Hunt with Ms. Kelleher

As part of the Green Schools “Biodiversity project, the young ecologists in 1st class participated in a “Bug Hunt” around the grounds of St.Joseph’s.

They checked out the “Hogitat” for signs of a hedgehog living there….

The keen birdwatchers spotted two magpies, crows and even a robin!

The 1st class boys loved harvesting the last of our potato crop from the school garden…

1st class got good use of the new benches with Ms. Kelleher as the biologists looked at and discussed their findings…
