Biodivesity describes the huge variety and variation of life that surrounds us from the tiniest bugs to the largest whales in the ocean.

Ms. Kelleher has been leading the Green Flag committee with the help of one of our SNAs Mary.  They have erected an insect hotel and put a hogitat in place.  Lots of insects, hedgehogs and other mammals are encouraged to live peacefully in the garden.

The children have planted vegetable seeds and scented wild flowers which will attract bees and other insects in to the garden.

All pupils and staff are encouraged and reminded to keep an eye out for all these creatures in our garden.
