One of our recent Aistear themes in Junior Infants was Dinosaurs. The children loved this theme and enjoyed every activity. Some of our Aistear play areas included creating dinosaurs out of play dough, making food in the restaurant for the dinosaurs, small world play with dinosaurs, writing stories about them and making split pin dinosaurs.
