Today we celebrated Grandparents Day in Junior Infants. It was a fantastic day where Grandparents could come into the classroom and see some of the things that take place.
The children shared an Irish poem with their Grandparents and helped them to learn it, they read a story together, had questions and answers with some of the Grandparents about their school life and sang ‘You’ve Got a Friend in Me’.
The Grandparents then went for tea and scones which the children spent all day yesterday baking!
