The students from 6th class have been taking part in the Get Going … Get Rowing programme for the last number of weeks in Blackrock.  The aim of the programme is to introduce primary school children to the Sport of Rowing in a supportive environment. The boys have been receiving structured coaching sessions by Andy, a Rowing Ireland certified Community Coach.  It has been the first time that many of the boys have tried to row and many are surprised by how much they enjoy it.
