The yearly school walk took place on Friday the 31st of May.  It was a chilly start but everyone was warm by the time they reached Fitzgerald’s Park.  The Junior classes finished their walk there while the Senior classes walked to the Lee Fields and walked back to Fitzgerald’s Park where every child got an ice-cream cone.

The students and staff were joined by 4 parents – Orla Fitzgerald, Gillian Pidgeon, Ann-Marie Bourke and Audrey O’Donovan – who kindly volunteered to do the walk with us.

It was a very enjoyable walk and the money collected will go towards school activities for the children next year.
