The boys in 5th class recently analysed various sections of the musical masterpiece: “The Carnival of the animals” written by the french composer ⭐Saint Saëns.⭐

They identified which instruments were being played in different sections of the musical score and even had a competition to match each piece they heard with its correct animal name!

The class also learned about different types of rhythm and musical notation and designed their own crotchets, quavers, triplets and rests.

They are looking forward to writing their own percussion compositions very soon! 🥁 🎵 🎶
