Well done to one of our Fifth Class boys who competed in the Munster Chess League. He represented Cork in Division 2, playing against competitors from Dungarvan and Ennis, winning his match against the Dungarvan entrant.
We are very proud of this young man who learned how to play chess with us in school and then went from strength to strength by practicing and challenging himself to play against better and better opponents. Despite being very young, he is already holding his own against experienced players. This is a result is dedication and enthusiasm. Keep up the good work!
