Management and team players of the St. Finbarr’s hurling team who beat the Rockies in the Senior Hurling Championship final visited St. Joseph’s with the cup. It was a very joyous occasion as two past pupils are on the team. Two 6th class students who are members of the Barr’s club welcomed them back to the school. The Bodhrán Bookills played for the players. There were words of encouragement from Ethan Twomey and Eoin Keane as they advised the boys to go and play for fun and always persevere. Each class had the opportunity to have their photo taken with the players and cup.
