St Joseph’s V Midleton CBS
Last Monday we played Midleton CBS in the Park South Grounds, Midleton.
It was our second last match.
The weather was perfect for hurling, it was dry and a little warm with almost no wind.
We were very cocky going into the match. Midleton gave us a shock and scored loads of points and goals.
We were 9 points down at half time, 4-4 to 1-4. We realised that they were very good and we needed to play well in the second half.
We all made a much better effort in the second half. We didn’t hit a single wide for the last quarter. In the end, we won by 3 points in the end, 3:13 to 4:07.
We also had a good win against Leamlara this week.
Now we are into the semi final and we also have a home advantage.
