Student Council Election

There was great excitement in Saint Joseph's National School in October.

Ten boys from Sixth Class ran as candidates in the Student Council election.

Classes listened to the boys' speeches and were very impressed with the promise of a therapy cat and yard communications board.

Boys from First Class to Sixth Class cast their votes using ballot paper and a ballot box.

After extensive counting and checking, the votes were announced in the school assemby.

Congratulations to all the boys that took part!

The school is so lucky to have so many commendable pupils.
